[FEATURE]: Desert Shower Style

Today we wanted to feature a great bridal shower set-up from the very talented @reexloves!

The wedding party was inspired by their upcoming trip to Scottsdale, Arizona for the bride's stagette.

They imagined a colour palette of coral, lime green and orange. They also wanted to bring the colours to life not only through the decorations but through the food too. A party not scared of color and we love that!

The candied orange and pistachio cake perfectly matched the tassel garland. We also love the various succulents in teracotta pots.

The cactus cupcakes were a whimsical way to tie in the desert imagery. These cupcakes are seriously too gorgeous to eat!

In our opinion the best parties include a little DIY, and for this one they did a Kokedama workshop. Kokedama stands for "moss balls" in Japanese.

The activity was led by a bridesmaid who Is the owner of Mayhew Florist. If you are local to Vancouver, BC we suggest stopping by Mayhew Florist to sign up for her next kokodama workshop!

They gathered this trendy Japanese variant of the bonsai and they fashioned them to look like a tiny moss pineapple. Adorable!

This DIY also doubled as a favour for the guests to take home.

Here's where you can find some of these party essentials and do your own desert inspired party:

We love the details and the unique ideas of this shower. Congrats to the bride-to-be!
